All registered members are allowed to borrow library materials according to their eligibility. Loan eligibility and borrowing period differ according to the borrower types. Borrowing can be done at the Service Counter or at Self Check Kiosk.
Users can return books at the Service Counter or Book Drop Kiosk. Library users are expected to return library books before or on the due date, if not an overdue fine will be imposed. The user will not be allowed to borrow any library materials if there is a fine of RM0.20 until the fine is paid. This is done to encourage users to return books on time and to give others fair opportunity to borrow the books.
A user who wants to renew books that are currently borrowed can do so at the Service Counter or at Self Check Kiosk. If the loan period is not yet due, renewal can also be done online through the library portal MyAccount.
4. Book Reservation
Books that are needed but are on loan to other users can be reserved through Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). Users can pick up the books that they reserved at the Service Counter.
5. Service Counter
Borrowing, returning of books & renewals, registration, cancellation of membership, overdue payments and inquiries may be made at Service Counter.
6. Inter-Library Loan (ILL)
Books which are not available in the library but available in other Library such as Hamzah Sendut Library USM & Sultanah Zanariah UTM Library.
7. Book Delivery Service (BDS)
Book which are not available within in the library but available in other UiTM's Library such as in Puncak Alam, Puncak Perdana & INTEC
