Counselor aims to help and support students resolve personal difficulties, challenges, learning new skills, attitudes and knowledge that will enable them to prosper throughout their academic and personal life at the faculty
Students with any concerns are encouraged to seek help and counselling services from the University Counselor. Students with serious cases will be referred to a Clinical psychologist or a psychiatrist.
Confidentiality matters are taken into great consideration. Counselor’s rights and responsibilities are bound by the Act of Malaysian Board of Counsellors. Therefore all clients’ information and counselling notes are kept confidential in accordance with legal, professional and ethical guidelines.
This unit is dedicated to help students overcome the challenges of life through counseling services and programs based on the conduct of professional and ethical counseling from Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia.
The system designed in this campus is a unique experience for students. General portal of counselling2u.com can easily be access by the student to enables them to make online appointment with the counselor. Apart from that, students can also walk-in to the Counseling Unit for a session if there is availability counselor. Services provided are free. The consultation hours is shown below :-
Monday to Thursday
9am - 12pm & 2pm- 5pm
9am – 11am
